We took one day to visit the Boca del Rio centro. It resembles a more quaint town.

My delicious margarita and shrimp cocktail from the restaurant Villa Rico. I highly recommend it!
Huevos con chorizo, fresh tortillas, refried beans and platanos, and cafe con leche- my amazing breakfast from the famous El Samborcito restaurant. There was at least a half our wait to get seated. Just a warning: don't get the agua de horchata, it's "fake".
We celebrated new years at the hotel. They had an Arabian Nights themed celebration. I didn't pack a new years outfit, but I found this wonderful dress at LOB. I actually really wanted a lot of clothes from that store, but the downfall is that clothes in Mexico can be quite expensive.
My favorite is still the one that I commented had awesome contrast. I love these! (:
